"I dropped out of college 2 times, but the 3rd time my mom finally was able to keep me in. I got my degree in teaching. I've taught for a total of 6 months in my entire life. That degree helped me get a job based on the fact I could relate to the public. So, Chris, stay in school and get your degree."

I swear. You apply for a job at McDonalds & they almost want a bachelor’s of art in cooking & cleaning. And they only pay you minimum wage! ('o' )!!!
Yeah. I'm exaggerating here, but all of you get the point. Yes. Having a degree DOES NOT GUARANTEE that you'll be getting that awesome job, but I'll tell you this much. An automotive employer will review 2 applications with 2 resumes. One person has 15 years of experience in the automotive industry. Didn't go to college, but learned it along the way & knows their shit quite well. The other person has a bachelor's of science in Mechanical or Electrical or Automotive Engineering & is fresh out of college. Guess who the employer's going to pick? ('o' )!!
A lot of it also has to do with how you present yourself & how you sell yourself. Not to mention that personality & attitude say a lot about a person. So yeah. There it is! ( ^o^) <3

Logically the employer would choose the former, because of the experience level, but the latter would likely be willing to work for lower wages, so it's a toss up of efficiency vs. cost.

After all, that kid with the degree in theatre is landing jobs like crazy, thanks to going to school. Oh wait...
I go to NYU and major in theatre and I definitley think it is worth it. Not only am I getting great training, but the connections I am making there with other theatre kids and film students are priceless. I have been in some student films, and have formed a theatre company with a group of friends. It is much more difficult, in my opinion, to pursue a career in acting without some form of training and/or school.
I am also planning to take classes in script writing and producing to broaden my skills. I really think school is worthwhile for any career you choose, as long as you make it work for you.
That being said, you don't NEED school to be successful. It is really about patience, hardwork, dedication, and perserverance.

Well, foreign language is a must. And then it helps to have history or something. And if I want to teach in a foreign country, well that's going to require some grad school too. Translation: Just about every cool job requires grad school. At least for me.
NYU has one of, if not, the lowest acceptance rates in the country. Speaking of low acceptance rates. I didn't get into Hopkins.

Wow. I've been out of the loop for the past few days. Many things have been going on in my life. A lot of it has to do with a girl that is very special to me. I mean REALLY special to me, not just some dumb ass bimbo that's a quick fuck buddy or booty call. I have not even attempted to sleep with her. No. This is someone that has truely stirred me in the most deepest & unimaginable way. This is someone that I really admire & respect. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm actually in love. I've never felt like this with anyone before. In my 30 years of living, no one has ever fascinated me like she has. There could be a possibility of the Anime Gee settling down with her.
Last Saturday we had a talk about everything. She feels that she's might not ready & she also feels that she will get in my way of accomplishing many things. ( ;o;) I tried explaining to her that she would be more of a help & emotional support than anything else. I guess I'm kind of confused about the whole deal. I sent her a long email explaining all my feelings towards her & everything else. Hopefully she'll get what I mean.
Life is a rollercoaster of emotions & events. Please use it wisely. ( ^o^) <3

I have completely cut off all other relationships or random girls that I know. I don't even look at other girls or even think about other girls. Only this girl that I'm seeing. I guess I'll be finding out soon. ('_' )???
