A week or so back Square-Enix released a teaser site for their new game with only a countdown timer and a picture of a dragon. But looks like Famitsu let the cat out of the bag early like they did with Metal Gear.
The game is called Four Warriors of Light: Final Fantasy Gaiden for DS. Here's the scan from Famitsu. You play as a fourteen year old kid who's on a quest to rescue the kidnapped princess from a witch. The battle system is the same basic stuff but MP is replaced by a charge command.
So, thoughts on a new DS Final Fantasy title that seems casual focused but retains a lot of classic stuff? This looks like it's a reimaging of FF1.

It looks ugly, and sprites are better for the DS anyways.
