Japan, Everything's in its place.

<font="times new roman">
Economy

The Japanese Economy is one of the strongest in the world. It's Number two, with the US-of-A in number one.
Japan's GDP (in American dollars) is 4.955 Trillion. That would make it 540.095 trillion yen. (Exchange rate is
1 USD = 109 Yen). Japan mainly exports cars, electronic goods (CD Players, stereo systems, mp3 Players, televisions, etc) and computers. Their most important trade partner is the United States of America. the USA Imports more than one quarter of Japanese exports. Japan also exports to other countries, such as Taiwan, China, Singapore, and South Korea.

Japan also has to import things, however, because they do not have all the resources they need to support themselves (and make all the goods). The main things they import are wood, food, and oil. The major countries that supply these demands are Indonesia, South Korea, Australia, China, and the US-of-A.

Japan's industries, while limited, are very important and useful. Some of the industries Japan is in are Manufacturing, distribution, real estate, communications, and services. Agriculture does not play a large part in the economy, however the most important agricultural product is rice. Japan has few raw materials at their disposal (aside from imports) and there is a very limited mining industry.
