kaura117
This is probably the only- only death metal album (or death anything) that I like, if only for its damn great guitars. Discuss? Link to comment
HappyLittleBoozer
You're missing out on alot then. There's alot of Death metal (if you really want to peg it to that genre) that has that same feel to it but with different deliveries, like Mercenary for example. Link to comment
Tanni Foemangler
i've baited people into death metal with the use of Novembre alone Link to comment

Do you like any of Opeth's other albums? They're all pretty good, in my opinion, though Blackwater Park is my favorite out of them. Link to comment
darkon
Opeth is considered a deity in 14 countries. Link to comment
Wind
16 countries, get it right or pay the price. Yes Black Water park is fucking amazing, although I'd def dig into Morningrise if you don't mind a less polished (production) but highly technical beautiful work. Link to comment

Silver Cyclone
Ensiferum and the crown was what got me into death metal I would highly recommend ensiferum as they're a good band to start off on or norther to open your world into the death metal genre/mixed genres. Or you could go even lighter then that and go for forefarther. Link to comment
