Regarding Kingdom Hearts 2

Recent propaganda showed that several more Final Fantasy characters would be appearing in Kingdom Hearts II. From Final Fantasy VIII will be Seifer, Fujin, and Raijin, while black mage Vivi will be filling in for the cast of Final Fantasy IX. All four will be depicted as children, but they will have the same general roles they had in their games of origin. While Nomura was originally reluctant to include Vivi, as he did not design that character, his staff put a lot of pressure on the director to do so, due to the black mage's popularity. Finally, Nomura relented.

There are no such things.

And I'm really apprehensive about hearing someone actually voicing Fujin for some reason. Partially because Fujin and Raijin were the best characters in FFVIII bar none, not that that's much of an accomplishment (though That Wacky Biggs and Wedge ruled too).

Toriyama's contracts are weird. He allows use of his characters for other things, so you don't have to hammer out another contract to ask for them, but you do have to pay out the ass for them. Unless Toriyama says you don't have to, as he has to sign off. Square-Enix generally chooses not to. Why do you think Crono, Marle, and Lucca were translucent kids in Chrono Cross?

It would be a crime of logic for you to compare a multi-billion dollar international corporation that frequently buys and sells IPs on a whim to a development house that has been recovering from releasing one bombed movie for the past five years.
