A couple things...

First does anyone know what it would take to host a radio station of your own? What software and hardware is required?

Second, are there any radio stations that you guys listen to?

I listen to Chronix Agression exclusively. And as far as starting your own radio station, it depends on what you're looking to do with it. If you just want streaming music, there are apps for that. If you're looking more towards a podcast, it requires more hardware and a better server.

You can run you own station using SHOUTcast, but I looked into it and it would barely run with the upload speed we have here in the dorms.

easy killer, just because Mac has an asine system, retarded web browser and horribly ability to access files that are not in that stupid scrolling program selector that resembles a slot machine, doesn't mean its completely horrible...... Wait yes they are.
