Photography is more than skills, it's much more personal, as is most art.

What GPS took is fine, cause it probably captured a moment of his life and etc.

An average photo taker isn't going to be Pablo Picaso... well... uhm... bad comparison...

It is an interpretation of another's art. A photograph is a time, a place, a viewpoint. The person taking the picture is as important, sometimes, as the subject. In many cases, moreso.

Yeah it is a mid range digital camera, five megapixals. It has both manual and automatic features so I can just take a quick picture, or I can play around with the settings.

I don't really think of myself as a photographer in any way, but I do think it's pretty neat subject.

Here's a few cool looking pictures I've taken. Keep in mind I have a pretty shitty camera and no photography skillz.

I noticed the sky looking really weird one night, so I took those two pictures. Both those pictures are of the same skyline, taken within 5 minutes of each other. I think it was right after a thunderstorm. I really wish the powerlines weren't in the pictures though, and I think I got part of the porch roof in the corner of that first one.

Some Mammoth Cave-age:

This one is kind of touristy, but I thought it had a cool angle to it. It's somewhere in Tampa Bay, Florida. I believe I was on a cruise ship pulling out of harbor.

Anyway GPS's first pic was taken rightoutside our house.

and the Soldier one he took when we were in Atlantic City a few weeks ago, as soon as I saw how the picture came out I loved it.

GPS's 1st one didn't have a lot going on in it, but I liked the other 2, and I liked all of Arcane's, and this is coming from someone who probably doesn't appreciate photography enough as I find most artsy photography to be kind of cheesey.

GPS' first pic is really rad, with the exception of the houses on the right. the rest of it, with the silhouette of the tree in the corner, is rad
