Even if Laharl is going to not be playable, I think this will be the next rpg I buy.

Have it reserved. I'll definately get it, and play it eventually, but it isn't really my absolute most anticiated game. After putting over 100 hours in the first one, it'll be hard to start over from scratch in the second one.

I bought it along with the guide, Xenosaga ep. 3, and Ultimate Ghosts N' Goblins (Which kicks major ass, by the way, Akito.) But I decided to get Xenosaga ep. 3 done with first, so I haven't played Disgaea 2 yet.

Anyway, I haven't bought anything this week since there hasn't been anything good released. Dance Factory looks interesting with the add your own CD thing, but I doubt it works well. I'll just stick with In the Groove and DDR.

I'm saddened. I just found out that they removed satisticians from this game. Oh well, there goes easy-leveling.

I never heard of them either. Of course, I never did anything with it after I beat it. And I only got to level 80 something anyway.

Statisticians are specialists that you find in the item world. Having them gives you experience bonuses based on their level. For example, if you have a level 1 statistician in one of your equipped items, you get 101% of the normal amount of experience points. Though their level caps at 600, their usefulness caps at 300. If you have a level 300+ statistician, you will gain 400% experience points. This is part of how I managed to get my samurai chick over level 5000 in a reasonable amount of time.

In Disgaea 2, they took them out. Instead, you get experience bonuses based on how many felonies you receive. There are a total of 300 felonies, so you can still get up to 400% experience points. However, that's going to take a hell of a lot fucking longer than getting a level 300 statistician.

Akito, be sure when doing the felony thing that you send a tower of people into the dark court. Have one guy throw nine people in there and all 9 people get the felony.
