stranger
Chicago are playing DC United tomorrow, it's the semi-finals of the USOC (U.S. Open Cup) and if Chicago wins then they advance to the final which will be played at home.. sure hope that happens... also, this Saturday i'm making the trip the Colombus (Crew) away game, and that should be a very very very drunk time Link to comment
stranger
And after a miraculous 3 - 0 win against DC United, the Chicago Fire have secured a slot in the US Open Cup Final match, to be held on September 27th at Toyota Park (Chicago) Will be an amazing match, Lan-Don and the Gals won't see what hit 'em Link to comment
darkon
Chicago will win I'm pretty certain. Link to comment
stranger
Chicago will win I'm pretty certain. It would be goddamn awesome, judging by the way we've been playing recently, we shouldn't have a problem with 'em... But we've only played Galaxy once this season, and that was a tie... so we'll see Link to comment
stranger
WE'RE KINGS KINGS KINGS OF THE CUP! KINGS KINGS KINGS OF THE CUP!! The Fire have won their 4th U.S. Open Cup trophy, fucking amazing, I think that might've been the best football match i've ever been to. This happened on Wednesday, but i just now sobered up enough to post anything it was amazing Link to comment
darkon
Yeah I read on Thursday. I'm glad to hear you went, I'd love to be able to get to some MLS when I get back to the US but chances are it won't quite work out. Fortunately I'll be going to some lower league action over here in London. Link to comment
darkon
It completely escaped me to tell you. Zach Thornton is the most famous alumni in sports ever from my high school. Link to comment
stranger
It completely escaped me to tell you. Zach Thornton is the most famous alumni in sports ever from my high school. Hah, that's pretty cool, I think someone told me that Thornton was a total douche in his early years (HS and College) ... Unless they were talking about Pickens, but that's impossible. I read on some site today that Figo will be coming to the MLS in Summer of '07, most likely going to Chivas USA, joining Beckham and Ronaldo in their zany adventures across the pond. I wonder if it's actually gonna happen though. It would definitely attract more people to matches. Link to comment
darkon
Adu's on trial with Man U. Likely to sign in January. Also, the "Beckham Rule" is a stellar idea. Link to comment
stranger
The "Beckham Rule" is grand I guess whoever cares, already knows, but Houston Dynamo have taken the MLS Cup, their first season in the League so ... congrats to them Link to comment
darkon
A well-past-his-prime David Beckham is coming to the Galaxy. Link to comment

darkon
It's funny because he's made twice as much as that in a year before. Plus, the American media won't know how to cover Becks and Posh. That's the most depressing part of the whole situation. You need to chronicle David fucking every American whore that comes his way! YOU MUST! GOD DAMMIT AMERICAN MEDIA I BEG YOU!!!! Link to comment
Harrison Ford
They did this with Pele a while back. Failed miserably. Link to comment
