Dramatic Conclusion
http://www.tenthdimension.com/ My brain died when it explained how theorized that there is something beyond infinite. I am so not a science person. Link to comment
Nega-Brent
Seems rather simple to me. Link to comment

Crube
Whoo boy... String theory. Uhm, let me get back to you when I am not tired. I just woke up not too long ago. XD Link to comment

cappy
that wasnt hard to understand... i remember learning quantum theory and probabilities in my senior year of chemistry and this isnt close to the level of detail we explored in that class. when you really get to the meat of the subject your head starts melting. check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfPeprQ7oGc Link to comment
Battle_Pope
you guys should read Hyperspace by Michio Kaku. Best book on the subject of theoretical physics. And he explains it in the simplest ways possible that even a yes, a 5 year old could understand. Link to comment
No Sad Endings
There's also the Dancing Wu Li Masters. It's a great book. Link to comment
Gundampilotspaz
Before scientists believed there were more than 4 dimentions Heinlein came up with a six dimention make-up some of his novels. (3-space, 3-time) This is very similer, and very very cool I want that book! that wasnt hard to understand... i remember learning quantum theory and probabilities in my senior year of chemistry and this isnt close to the level of detail we explored in that class. when you really get to the meat of the subject your head starts melting. check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfPeprQ7oGc HOLY SHIT! Battle_Pope
I think the best example of 10 dimensions is a Matryoshka doll single file line. Each doll gets smaller and smaller. Think of these dolls as dimensions. Now, the Matryoshka only looks ahead, never behind, never above, never below. so without doing those things, it can only see what is directly in front of it. Knowing it can only see what is directly in front of it, it will only see things within viewpoint, so if a larger doll were in front of it, it would only see the portion it can see from its own height. This is why we can't see other dimensions, but unlike the Matryoshka doll, we can look above, below, forward, and backward. Link to comment

Belial
you guys should read The Elegant Universe by Brian Green. Best book on the subject of theoretical physics. And he explains it in the simplest ways possible that even a yes, a 5 year old could understand. Fixed. I did a research paper on string theory years ago. Facinating stuff. Link to comment
Battle_Pope
both Kaku and Green are excellent choices. but I like my matryoshka doll example because I came up with it off the top of my head. Link to comment

Anime Gee
I was watching a documentary about string theory. Very neat stuff. You can explain a black hole with this. ( ^o^) But yeah. Even though scientists are almost sure about it, it's still a theory until fully proven. Basically everything that exists is composed of these strings that are very small. Way smaller than atoms. They can't even be seen with the most powerful microscope available. They say that if you blow up an area that one of the strings exists in to the size of the sun, the string would be about the size of a tree. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/elegant/program.html ^ See if you can get a chance to watch it. Really neat stuff! (^o^ ) <3 Link to comment

Satan
If I had free time, I would read these books. This is really interesting stuff. As for the infinite thing, just keep in mind that the words "infinite" and "infinity" have many meanings. They used one, but I don't think it was the best word for them to use. Link to comment
