DreamerGirl
Anyone else have some weird homework rituals? My main one is whenever I'm writing I'll have to take a break and take a couple minutes to get my thoughts back in order. I just have to clear my mind of other random stuff going through it before continuing with what I was doing. Like right now, I'm posting this message before I start the third essay question. (ADD anyone? Heh.) Another strange thing I did once was give someone the answers in science as I worked on my math. (Without actually stopping working on the math problem.) Oh, and I can't actually map out what I'm writing in an outline, but as I am writing I find myself moving things around to where I want them to go. I'm actually a pretty good writer, but it used to drive my English teachers nuts because I'd turn in one outline (that they'd make me do because "It will help.") and change it completely around once I actually wrote the paper. I know, completely random, but now I can do that third essay question. Link to comment
Svenska Aeroplan
That's how your supposed to do it really. Link to comment
Belial
I can only get serious reading done for my classes while in the bathroom. I'm not doing anything other than reading, though it seems to go better sans pants. If anyone can seriously beat this as far as weird study habits and/or homework rituals I will bow before them. Poophy
Most of the homework that I do(only about 25%) gets done the class before its due, first period is shop, so I just stop working about 10-15 min early and do history, then in history I do spanish, in spanish I do math, in math I do english, I sit in the front row in english so I cant get anything done in that class, the I do science in study hall, and finally, sleep in science⦠Link to comment
Satan
I help other people before I do mine during study halls. All I can do during study halls seems to be helping other people, sleeping, and maybe reading. Occasionally I might do math or a lab, but i really just can't work that well unless I've procrastinated first. I write most papers the night (including up to 3 am as night) before they're due, usually while drinking lots of tea. I don't do French homework. It is believed that the freak snowstorm of a few weeks ago was caused when God became so amazed that I had actually done French homework that he accidentally unleashed a storm a month early. Same with me. xD While doing homework I always have to doodle on the paper. I can't just do the work. I have to take breaks and just draw random shit and then go back to it. Link to comment

FaultyClockwork
Actually I just excuse myself to the bathroom, hyperventilate in the hallway, then close my mouth and my nostrils and try to breath out, exerting pressure against my brain. I then take a step into the doorway and pass out on the floor. Voila. Link to comment

Ceraziefish
I like to lie down on my bed with my laptop above me and type upside down. I also find it hard to read inside, so I often go on long bus trips (like I ride all the way on one bus, and then all the way back) when I need to read something for class. Link to comment

DreamerGirl
Thanks to my college the entire city is a free fare zone for me. I get a free bus pass but I've never actually ridden the bus. It's a little creepy. << >> Link to comment
Ceraziefish
Eh? The bus is awesome. I don't have a lisence or any of that shit so it's nice to leave my immediate area every now and then. Of course, Olympia is a tiny little town with virtually no crime... But my bus route took me through the seediest parts of Seattle last year (not that they're actually that seedy but I often sat next to crackheads) and you get used to it. Although, being a female, and not a very large male, it could be a bit different. Link to comment
Belial
The #1 bus here in good ol' Lansing MI is a hoot. The last time I rode it down to the capital building there was a guy who got on wearing a hospital gown and sandals who was speaking to himself in tongues. It was pretty fucking metal. Ceraziefish
Right now I'm doing this cool homework ritual called "not writing my midterm essay." As you can probably guess, it's really helping me write my midterm essay. Link to comment
