Siendra
So, yeah.... The games only three weeks away for those of us getting a Wii. And I must say, the shakes I got with the first three trailers shown are on their way back. I can't even imagine this game being less then orgasmic. Link to comment
Akito
I want to be excited, but I doubt I'll be able to find a Wii on launch day. I'll certainly try though. Link to comment
Siendra
God this game needs to get here faster. I have to know how big the overworld is, how big the twilight realm is, how many dungeons there are, how many towns, I need new weapons, and lord help me, I need gigantic bosses. Link to comment
Natsu
I'm really not hyped for it like Smash and MP.. but I can't wait to play it, I know I can get a Wii but moneys tight at the moment Link to comment
J-Stop
Thread lacks the Master Sword. My job is done here. Only 17 more days now. Link to comment
Akito
I think Nintendo needs to release a toy Master Sword that's about the size of the sword that comes with Kenshin Dragon Quest. Maybe they could even allow you to dock your Wiimote in it. That would be awesome. Link to comment
Siendra
So the members of the gaming press that got a shot at the ten hour demo have more or less confirmed that Nintendo wasn't lying about TP taking about 70 hours just for the main quest (first time through). Oh, and there's nine dungeons. And the world is insanely huge, apparently. Link to comment
Artie
I can't even imagine this game being less then orgasmic. hell yea. and yea, i have read that this is the biggest Zelda game yet. It will be truly amazing. and those vids that you posted are too amazing for mortal eyes! Link to comment
Akito
And the world is insanely huge, apparently. Well, I've heard that the hyrule field (not counting side areas like death mountain in whatnot), is about five times the size of the hyrule field in OoT. While that is pretty big, I wouldn't exactly consider that "insanely huge." Link to comment
Siendra
Out of interest for getting an idea of the scope of Hyrule field in TP, I just loaded up the debug mode in OoT and turned off the collision detection for above ground structures. I then both ran and rode Epona across the longest portion. It took me 7 minutes 38 seconds riding. Which would mean TP takes 38 minutes. Running took 11 minutes 17 seconds. Meaning TP would take 56 minutes. That's a huge world, my friend. Especially when you factor in that YOU KNOW you won't be able to keep from being distracted by things along the way, and that's just the world hub. If all the outside areas follow suit with the increase in size... And assuming you count the creeping Twilight realm as a separate area (which I do)... Link to comment

Using Epona, it didn't even take me two minutes to get from one end to the other, and that's even considering time lost from not being able to jump over a fence. Link to comment

From Kakariko village to the SW corner of the map. It's about 2x the length of the map and 3-4x the width. If you use a gameshark, you can open the debug menu in OoT. It's a little hard to use, but some stuff, like collision detection is simple enough. Link to comment

How dare they state their crappy opinion like that! I've already ripped up my imaginary pre-order ticket. Doing something that has been a part of the game since the first few titles? NOT WITH MY MONEY, NINTENDO! Link to comment
Artie
meh LoZ:TP got a Perfect 5 star at gamespy. and some of the commenters are right. you can't base a whole game on sign reading. adn browns. most great games are using shades of brown and gray, and if i do remember correctly the most of the twilight world is blueish with added grays. the lighting is great too. this guy isn't a fan of Zelda. J-Stop
meh LoZ:TP got a Perfect 5 star at gamespy. Gamerz-Edge pegged the game as pretty much the greatest thing in existence, and oddly enough, Nintendo Power did not give it a perfect 10 as many fans would have predicted. Never the less, all of us are about to find out how good or bad it is in less then 48 hours now. Link to comment
Chris C
IT GOT A 10 FROM 1UP!! Link to comment

J-Stop
I'm refusing to read any Zelda reviews of Wii games until I actually have the system in my hands. Getting more hyped up only makes the wait longer. It's going to be a long 32 hours. A very long 32 hour wait. ..a very very long 32 hours. ......is it Sunday yet? Link to comment
Artie
no sorry man. wait how about now? wait no, false alarm. ok....deep breaths..maybe i can pull a Star Trek and follow a Borg ship through a time vortex thing and go to sunday? Link to comment
