Abstinence education is a horrible thing that gets people pregnant and with STDs. Seriously, everyone knows how to have sex, that isn't hard, and everyone knows how to not have sex but they're not going to do it. Just hand out condoms and tell people how to use them. The only reason people don't do that is because they don't actually care about people, they just don't want them to have sex.

I read somewhere about why some Christians are against birth control, and that's because it encourages adultery (because there's no risk of bastard children). What they don't realize is that people are going to be adulterous anyway, they've been doing that for thousands of years. Now we have the chance to make it so that an adulterous couple doesn't have a child who grows up knowing that he/she was unwanted and illegal.

Just like any other mammal, our main biological drive in life is to mate.
