amy
Imagine you're Hindu, and your uncle (who does not know about the Holocaust because ey is a hermit) made you a GIANT SWASTIKA STATUE. In Hinduism the swastika symbolizes peace. You really admire your uncle, and ey's a brilliant craftsman, and fervently committed to community activism, and you think of em like a father. Two months later ey dies and you fall in love with a Jewish woman who understood when you explained why you had it. What do you do with the giant swastika!?!? Link to comment
Ceraziefish
Explain what you just said. If people can't get beyond that and reclaim the swastika as a worthwhile symbol than they're crazy. Link to comment
