Poophy
http://www.unlvrebelyell.com/article.php?ID=10001 The election was a blow to the Committee to Regulate and Control Marijuana, which sponsored Question 7 on the ballot. The initiative lost in a 44 to 56 percent margin, meaning that marijuana will continue to be an illegal substance in Nevada; however, the sheer number of supporting votes surprised many. As some of you probably know “question 7” on the Nevada ballot was to legalize, tax, and regulate the sale of up to 1 ounce of marijuana, and since im still in Connecticut, obviously, it failed… o well… its ok, next election… You know what, no this isn’t ok! FUCK YOU all you lazy assholes that didn’t bother to go out and vote! Link to comment
Belial
If only they could have gotten all the people that where sitting stoned on their couches to go out and vote... Link to comment
Poophy
Well compared to 2002 when a similar initiative lost 61-39 in Nevada, there getting better, and maybe they will get it right in time for my twenty-first birthday… By the way, its not just stoners in Nevada that im pissed at, you guys in Colorado, where the fuck were you! Amendment 44 lost by nearly a 2-1 margin. Link to comment
DreamerGirl
I want to move to Canada. XD Honestly though, I could definitely see drugs being legalized in the next 10 years. Public opinion is changing, and there's plenty of other places the US could spend the money that goes to the drug war. Link to comment
