Poophy
If you had the chance to go to any moment in time when would it be? Personally I think that the two points in time that I would like to see would be Roswell, New Mexico on July 2, 1947, and a tomb in the middle east about 2000 years ago, Easter morning… because after all, if anything happened at either of them then they were quite likely the most important moments in human history… Link to comment
Cip
I'd go back to the year 64 in rome and watch nero play his fiddle as rome burnt to the ground, I think it'd be a devestatingly poetic thing to watch. Link to comment
Wind
I'd videotape it and put it on you-tube. Link to comment
Ceraziefish
1066, to watch the Battle of Hastings. Possibly also Moscow in 1533 to watch the coronation of Ivan IV. Poophy, is that second thing you mentioned another UFO theory? I confess I've never heard of it. That sort of thing is a passing interest for me, not something I ever got really into. Link to comment
margot
I would like to go back to the 60s and see the members of the weather underground plan. also general "swinging london" buisness. Perhaps Harajuku in its hayday of the late 80s/early 90s. I feel so blessed to have gone there recently, though. Link to comment
Battle_Pope
1964, La Honda California, to join Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters. Link to comment
Satan
I'm thinking of a particular Sunday Morning wouldn't be bad, but the first Pentecost and the Ascension would do. I'd really like to see what supposedly happened about 6,000 years ago. How many years ago did Muhhamed go to heaven? That might be worth seeing too. I wouldn't mind seeing (from a distance) Hiroshima or the first testing of the atom bomb. If I had more money, the first chance to invest in google migh be decent. Link to comment
amy
This was a question on my history class's (graded) internet forum last year. I said I'D LIKE TO GO BACK TO MARCH 15 1767 WHEN ANDREW JACKSON WAS BORN AND BARGE INTO HIS PARENTS HOUSE AND KILL HIM WITH A GIANT AXE Link to comment

If I choose a date, I wouldn't know prolly back in the Dark Ages to hang out with Joan of Arc. Link to comment

Satan
This was a question on my history class's (graded) internet forum last year. I said I'D LIKE TO GO BACK TO MARCH 15 1767 WHEN ANDREW JACKSON WAS BORN AND BARGE INTO HIS PARENTS HOUSE AND KILL HIM WITH A GIANT AXE come on now, he's only a baby. He's helpless. Surely you can think of something more painful and humiliating than just a giant axe. I mean with an axe to a baby, its over at the first swing. No pain, no humiliation, nothing but one hit and then death. Doesn't he deserve worse than that? Link to comment
Poophy
Poophy, is that second thing you mentioned another UFO theory? I confess I've never heard of it. That sort of thing is a passing interest for me, not something I ever got really into. I will assume that that was sarcasm, but in the event that I was really that unclear, allow me to clarify… I would like to see (if it happened) the resurrection of Jesus So to answer you question, maybe… Link to comment
Samurai Drifter
There are a few. -Japan, December 17, 1702, When 47 ronin raided the house of the man who'd insulted their master and gotten him killed, dragged him out of his house, cut off his head, and presented it to their master's grave. -Roswell, New Mexico, July 2, 1947 - Something obviously happened, what it was is beyond me. -Easter Morning, Year 32- Like poophy, I'd like to be outside Jesus' tomb to see what really happened. -Amelia Earheart's plane, July 2, 1937- Did she crash and die in the pacific, or was she captured and imprisoned by the Japanese?
