A-E IRC

So I've heard that an attempt was made to set up an IRC channel for you folks around here, but I'm gonna do this anyway.

I've set up a room on the GalaxyNet IRC server titled A-E and will be idling in it until people decide to come and join me. All we need to do is get 10 people registered with the IRC server and then we can register the channel and set up Auto-Op rights and what not.

If anyone has any questions on how to connect to IRC or anything else pertaining to this channel feel free to post those questions here or PM me. I look forward to talking to you guys there.

I just downloaded an IRC client that was supposedly published/designed by "Raffi."

Once I figure this out I'll log on.

EDIT: Logged on, how do I "register" or whatever it was you said? I've never really used IRC before. *Shrug.*

GalaxyNet.org says we only need six registered people to register the channel. I see six in there right now, so all we need is one more.

Ok to register on the IRC server channel follow these instructions.

1.) Open your IRC client and enter your nickname

2.) Go to this server in "Galaxynet"

boston.MA.US.GalaxyNet.org

3.) Join channel A-E( /join #A-E )

4.) Register your nickname /msg ns register [email address]

(You can't use a Free/anonymous e-mail service.)

5.) Check your E-mail and paste the link in the bottom into your IRC client chat window.

Last time I used mIRC, it acted like the most un-user friendly piece of shit I ever downloaded. It constantly changed my nickname against my will and randomly logged me off. I'd rather just use a chat plug-in on a website, if anything.
