John
http://verizonmath.blogspot.com/ Basically. This guy was quoted a price of .002 cents per Kilobyte and was charged .002 dollars. Obviously, that's a huge difference so his bill was 100x more than it should have been. Meaning instead of being charged 71 cents he was charged $71. Link to comment
margot
o lawd. I like how he explains it to them in really simple terms and they still don't get it. Link to comment
cappy
i think it was more of a "oh fuck, if this gets out, we'll lose millions of dollars, lets try to cover it up" than a misunderstanding Link to comment

Siendra
XD. $71 worth of kilobytes...Something tells me he was browsing porn. You're aware how small a kilobyte is, right? That's only 36mb worth of bandwidth. Most people use roughly 500x that from their home desktops a month. Link to comment
Oban-Chan
Yeah, but that's a hell of a lot of kb for cell phone browsing. Most people use it for a quick check on something and exit. Link to comment

Downloading a single Mp3 would use about a quarter of that... I don't know of any carries that bundle text as a data charge. Link to comment
