First purpose of this thread is to establish a permanent name for the Podcast, so make your suggestions and we'll vote on them.

The Podcast will be recorded (though Skype) at 1AM Eastern Time on Sunday Morning. So anyone who wants to be a part of the Podcast should be on Skype and in the IRC channel at that time. We'll use the IRC channel to talk to members of the forum who aren't in the chat.

The show will be hosted by me; and co-hosted on most episodes by Wind; with two guests (sometimes three) we'll probably have to rotate some people in and out throughout the podcast.

Right now it's a half-hour show, but depending on how the first night goes that may be extended to an hour. The format will be a round table discussion, throughout the week member should pm or email me (RTpodcast@gmail.com) stories that you want to discuss during the podcast. I'll make a list and trim in down and sent to all participating members before the show. This list is not set in stone, you may bring up a topic not on the list and they'll be plenty of time dick around. The list will keep things a bit orderly.

Topics of interest include all the topics on the AE forum. (Movies, Tv, books, video games, Anime, General topics, SD&D, and sports)

Do not be afraid to move the show on at any point by picking a new topic from the list, or any random topic you wish to bring up.

Oh, and as we found out last night, A half hour or even a full hour won't be a problem.

We were all bullshitting (by we I mean me, GPS, Brian, and SD) for about 2 hours. After SD left, we brought in Baltar and went on for almost a half hour longer.

I would Say that IRC should be our base of operations for the cast. All the planning and what not then we announce the agenda on the forum right before the release and the the cast a few days later. A request thread would be cool as well for this thing.

One of the reasons I hate the term "podcast"

From now on I think I'll refer to it as a Netcast as Leo does.

But you can listen to it on any MP3 player, as well as on your computer in any program that supports MP3. If we get an RSS feed all you need is a reader which you can get stand alone or as part of itunes.

It's a VOIP service that offers free PC to PC chat.

Also up to four person conference calls.
