The Masterplan
I just got a 30GB iPod for Christmas. It's fucking great cause for me it means metal on the go, but I can't help but wonder. Sometimes when I load shit into iTunes it filters it out weird. Examples: Porcupine Tree - Deadwing, Amon Amarth - With Odin on Our Side, Gamma Ray - Land of the Free and Hellsing - Ruins [shut up] all show up as no artist and no album. And not as important, but still annoying there's 2 Dark Tranquillity's [One with one l and one with two] and 3 Pagan's Mind [Pagan's, Pagans, Pagan s]. That's different, because at least they show up in the artists list. But when I want to listen to the previously mentioned albums on my iPod I have to fucking go to songs and scroll for an hour to find them. Is there a way I can just fill in an artist/album name for those tracks so I can fucking listen to them without hassle? P.S. I actually went to dictionary.com to check my spelling on hassle. Ceraziefish
Yup, iTunes makes it really easy to edit ID3 tags. It's nice, it means crazy dudes like me and FC can have fun indexing our music! Link to comment

Nerd? Or better life form? Seriously it really bugs me when people let typos, inaccuracies, etc, that they are clearly aware of, run rampant in their music collection. It's just sort of disrespectful to the artist, or something. Link to comment
The Masterplan
What do you have to do to have the albums cascade in a specific order? I prefer to have albums in chronological order. Link to comment

The Masterplan
I prefer chronological, that's what I do with my CD Collection, but iTunes does alphabetical and I don't know how to change it. How ghey of them. They should keep organization freaks such as myself in mind when creating new software in teh future. Link to comment
