Adam
Tonight a email was sent out to all Gamestop stores that Gamestop has acquired Rhino Video Games. Thoughts? Source: Gamestop Email POS Original Post by DRL under Toga's account by mistake. :P Link to comment
Siendra
I had to do a Google Search just to found out what Rhino games was, so that should show how much I care. Link to comment
J-Stop
I care as much as Sien does. Link to comment
The Diabetic
To give you a idea it's a game store that specializes in classic games mainly and it pisses off Fagstop/EB because it offered a lifetime warranty on all games for free and usually hurt business for EBs in the areas it was in. Ceraziefish
Sounds like it was an awesome store. I had to do a Google Search just to found out what Rhino games was, so that should show how much I care. Link to comment
Crube
I want a pet rhino. A miniature rhino the size of a small dog. Link to comment
Hero
oh fuck Rhino's trade-in values were awesome. I abused the fuck out of trade-2-get-1 new. God damnit. No competition is not a good thing! Link to comment

Nega-Brent
I hear that; it's pretty much giving EB/Gamestop the ability to do whatever they want, how they want. I don't think anyone is going to try and stop them. Link to comment
Siendra
I hear that; it's pretty much giving EB/Gamestop the ability to do whatever they want, how they want. So long as they don't touch Microplay (Even if I can only get to one twice a year) I honestly don't care. Link to comment
Scarface
one of my wrestling nicknames was Rhino. Link to comment
Akito
The only non-Gamestop-owned video game store I know about in my area is Game Force. I'm sure they'll be absorbed sooner or later, which is a shame because they have so much stuff that you can't find anywhere else in the universe. Link to comment
Galkar
There's still Game Crazy for competition. Link to comment
The Masterplan
Rhino...Is that anything like Funcoland? Funcoland fucking owned. Link to comment

Ceraziefish
There's still Game Crazy for competition. Personally I can't tell the two stores apart. There's a store in Seattle that, as far as I can tell, is just a store, not a chain or anything. Link to comment
Ikari Warrior
Rhino...Is that anything like Funcoland? Funcoland fucking owned. There was a funcoland near me that was really crappy. they had display boxes up for games they knew they didn't have. I was actually glad when they were bought out by gamestop. Gamecrazy is a lot like how Funcoland used to be (in its prime). They still sell all the old systems and games (that they can get a hold of). Link to comment
