amy
I saw this article already. It's ridiculous to me that the BBC would publish that kind of unscientific womens' magazine trash. Of course low-intensity exercise carried out for a long period of time is going to be more healthy than jogging for 20 minutes a day. They could have just WRITTEN THAT. Link to comment

amy
The doctor did in the second paragraph - I imagine housework was the only activity that the women did for "16-17 hours a week". Any kind of exercise that you do that much would have the same effects. But of course the study is badly controlled This doesn't really make me mad or anything though, just pointing it out. Maybe I should have waited until later in the thread. I think I disrupted the A-E flow. >__>;; SYPHILIS!! Link to comment

No Sad Endings
Yeah, between this and masturbation preventing prostate cancer, science has done men so many favors. Science is doing you a favor by pushing gender-roles that require you to be the bread-winner? Link to comment
Arcane
Science is doing you a favor by pushing gender-roles that require you to be the bread-winner? So long as we don't actually have to make the bread. Link to comment
