Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but they seem to be implying that the DVDs will be dub-only and you'll have to download the subs. On the one hand I can't really see why they would do that, but that does seem to be what the wording of the article is implying. Thoughts?

Supposedly Viz announced at ComicCon that the DVDs will have both the sub and dubbed versions on them.

The first subtitled episode will be out this Thursday, just as planned.

Viz sent out cease and desist orders to all the current fansub groups still doing Death Note. The groups have until the 22nd to get rid every episode they've posted on their site or Viz will do... something, I guess?

Not like they did anything to the guys who still continued to do Naruto after last year.

So if anyone needs to catch up on downloading episodes you better do it before next friday.

EDIT: Isn't Teru in the current episodes? Shouldn't the series only have like 10 episodes left, at best?
