Artie
The Glorious New Haven Colosseum has finaly been imploded January 20, 2007 at 7:49AM. Most people in Connecticut have heard of it if not been to it at one time. It hosted a great range of events in its 30+ years of life. This included a great range of concerts such as The Who, U2, Maddona, Van Halen, Elvis Presley, and others. It was also home to many sporting events like hockey and basketball not to mention Monster truck evens and proffesional wrestling evens too. Ahh goodbye New Haven Colosseum! You've been a great friend! Link to comment

Ceraziefish
This reminds me of when they blew up the kingdome in Seattle. Then replaced it with two new colossi, paid for with taxpayer money, that we voted down. Link to comment
Artie
i don't think they are building a new colosseum there though, i think it is going to be a parking garage, even though I think New Haven should have something like the Colosseum there. Link to comment
