I want Pan's Labyrinth to win anything is was nominated for. It's the only movie nominated for anything that I give a modicum of shit about.

But I see how accurate my prediction for Letters From Iwo Jima and Flags of Our Fathers was. I know how little the oscar committee can resist a fucking sentimental war movie.

Peter O'Toole was so pissed... and for good fucking reason. He should have won for Lawrence of Arabia decades ago.

I don't know if O'Toole should've won Best Actor for Lawrence of Arabia. I mean he was beaten out by Gregory Peck in To Kill a Mockingbird. So it's not like some talentless no-name beat him out.
