Samurai Drifter
Submitted my picks. I haven't seen a lot of the movies on the list, but I am fairly confident on my ability to guess which ones will win based on reviews and hype. Link to comment
mst3kjunkie
I picked based off of hype and pre-oscars (read: Golden Globes and SAG) results Link to comment
DreamerGirl
Quite a few of mine will probably be wrong, but I participated! Link to comment
HappyLittleBoozer
I want Pan's Labyrinth to win anything is was nominated for. It's the only movie nominated for anything that I give a modicum of shit about. But I see how accurate my prediction for Letters From Iwo Jima and Flags of Our Fathers was. I know how little the oscar committee can resist a fucking sentimental war movie. Link to comment
Nega-Brent
Not to mention the Academy would like nothing more than to suck Clint Eastwood's dick. Link to comment
Depression
Cinamatography has to goto Children of Men. That single take shot was one of the most incredible shots I've ever seen. Link to comment
mst3kjunkie
okay, have added all entries into a spreadsheet. This should make calculating the winer much easier. Link to comment
amy
I haven't seen most of these movies so my picks are based primarily on the title Link to comment

Nega-Brent
I liked Little Miss Sunshine, but I don't understand how it got nominated for best picture and little miss sunshine didn't. I could probably respond better if your post made sense. Link to comment
Galkar
Oops, I was really tired. I meant that Children of Men should have been nominated. Link to comment

Chris C
Peter O'Toole was so pissed... and for good fucking reason. He should have won for Lawrence of Arabia decades ago. Link to comment
darkon
So I'm totally the man around these parts. I don't know if O'Toole should've won Best Actor for Lawrence of Arabia. I mean he was beaten out by Gregory Peck in To Kill a Mockingbird. So it's not like some talentless no-name beat him out. Link to comment
HappyLittleBoozer
They should've given it to Peter because he may not have a chance to get another one and he really deserves it. Link to comment
Nega-Brent
They should've given it to Peter because he may not have a chance to get another one and he really deserves it. But Forest Whitaker has a messed up eye. If he lost then the Campaign for the Civil Rights of People with Messed Up Eyes would have protested. Link to comment
amy
YEAAA THIRD PLACE! I WIN :hardgay: Link to comment
