I've been waiting for over two years to get back in to the Naruto anime and they've finally finished the filler. Shippuuden Episode 01 - 02 is out. The incredibly awesome OP is also out on youtube. It's "The Hero Returns" by nobodyknows+.

The first episode is awesome. It's REALLY nice to see that they aren't going through the same "It will get back to the original production quality eventually" bullshit that Bleach is. Shippuden has great animation out of the gate.

Oh, and I can't wait to see Resengshuriken animated. Seriously.

There's this one part in Tsunade's office that Sakura looks retarded as fuck. Like really bad drawing there.

Good episodes tho. I've already read the manga till it's current chapter, but I couldn't help to see it all in actiony sequence mode. I just rather stick to the manga.

The beginning of episode 1 and the end of episode 2 were the saving points of both episodes tho. That and Konohamaru. That kid needs to be in the new game.

Also from the looks of the first episode, the new game will have Sasuke and if lucky, at least 5 Akatsuki members. I think they introduced Sasuke in the first episode because of the game actually. XD I was worried he wouldn't be in it to avoid spoilers.

Oh, of course I agree with you on that. Raw power, Naruto is higher up there than anyone in Akatsuki. But Raw power can't defeat Sasuke, Itachi, Orochimaru(As we've seen), and even Shikamaru. In order to defeat anyone he really has to rely on his new technique connecting and then without using the Kyuubi's chakra, he's nothing. I'm almost sure Kakashi wasn't using the Mangekyu on account of his low amount of chakra left.

Finished watching it.

The first seven minutes were really movie quality - and also oddly in widescreen. The rest wasn't as good, but it was still fucking great.

If they can keep up this quality through the rest of the year, Shippuden will be a success greater than the original series.

Oh, and It's official that Sasuke among others are not in the new game for the Wii. Which is bullshit, since they introduced sasuke in the first episode.
