Siendra
As if shivering Isles wasn't enough, the mod community is cooking up its own massive update through Obscuro's Oblivion Overhaul. This mod is huge.Eight new NPC types with their own factions.Forty new complete armor setsOne-hundred-twenty new weaponsOne-hundred new articles of clothingMore then 175 new Gems, books, etc...Complete redesign of the Radiant A.I system (IE: It works how originally intended now. Factions of NPC's, without player involvement raid other factions at random times, purchase good, hunt, etc...)Multiple new boss battlesFemale Legion soldier, and new Guard paths outside cities24 New creature retexturesDozens of new Deadra and creaturesCreatures only roam in environments where they should be.Animals bear faction allegiancesAll creatures now have Radiant A.I (HUGE! They'll hunt, seek water, travel in groups, stalk you in sneak mode, etc...)You can ally yourself with creatures, and have them accompany you.Underwater F laura and Fauna Items found in homes/dungeons are now what should be expected in individual areas. IE: Poor homes wont have 500 gold stashed in them. A Deadra god of lucks temple will have +luck equipment.Redesigns for: Alchemy, Armory, Birth signs, Economy, Magic, Skills, Stealth, Weaponry, Enchanting. This is freaking huge. And I'm totally psyched to see it finished. Link to comment

Samurai Drifter
I dunno, one of my friends (he posted here a while back, actually, under the name Kenji-some-number-or-other) has the best (and only, actually) Oblivion mods I've ever seen. Including an in-game console where you can spawn units and set their aggression levels. Let's just say that 300 highly aggressive mudcrabs inside the walls of a city = lots of amusement. Isn't there a console already available in the game? I know this because my roommate was playing it awhile back and kept using the 'unlock' command instead of any lockpicks. Link to comment
Siendra
Yes. And with it, you can spawn creatures and set their aggression levels. Your friend doesn't have a mod at all. Link to comment
Ceraziefish
Although the mod in the OP sounds pretty wicked awesome. I'd like to play around with it. Link to comment

Well, he does have a ton of mods (such as the bow that does so much damage the graphics engine doesn't know how to handle it, the topless mod, samurai house, etc). I just thought that that was one of them. Link to comment
Ceraziefish
My roommate downloaded this mod for oblivion that makes it so that instead of a couple high level enemies you have a ton of low level enemies. Game balance stays basically the same. It's pretty sweet. Makes the game about ten times as epic. Link to comment
J-Stop
An Oblivion mod, eh? I have something for you. Here, Sien, polish my spear. Link to comment
Ikari Warrior
With all these new swords, armors, and clothes, it makes it sound like Oblivion is dolls for boys o_O Link to comment
Siendra
With all these new swords, armors, and clothes, it makes it sound like Oblivion is dolls for boys o_O Dolls that kill, maim, and burn anything and everything that moves. I fail to see an issue. Link to comment

Kreutz
Considering OOO1.3 ruined part of my finished game, I'm gonna say no. Link to comment
Siendra
that almost makes me want to upgrade from my Geforce5500 and buy oblivion. Buy it anyway and download the Oldblivion mod. Changes all of the in-game textures, and lighting engine. The visuals are a nice components of the game, but the gameplay is awesome too. Link to comment
