Kreutz
Not here, here. I really don't think it will be as good as the first. It's still cool to see the Askewniverse opened up again. Link to comment
Belial
Yeah, I'm sort of skeptical of this, though I loved every other Kevin Smith film to date. (Yes even Chasing Amy and Jersey Girl) Link to comment
Silver Cyclone
Looks fun to me. Link to comment
uniform_motion
Kevin Smith on Degrassi was bullshit. That was SO lame. Link to comment
Wind
Production values seem rather low compared to Dogma, or Jay and Silent bob strike back. Link to comment
Crube
Production values seem rather low compared to Dogma, or Jay and Silent bob strike back. Not only was Clerks filmed in black and white, but it had a budget of a mere thousand dollars! Link to comment
stranger
Oh you know it'll be great, why wouldn't it? *sees all of the reason* oh.. Edited November 24, 2005 by Stranger Link to comment
Wind
Not only was Clerks filmed in black and white, but it had a budget of a mere thousand dollars! Clerks was also his indie film. He's suppose to have money to spend on a film now, he just lost so much reputation with Jersey Girl that he was dropped from The Green Hornet movie directing (Convienintly right after Jesery Girl flopped) and now he'd like to spend little amounts of money and get a decent box-office gross. Crube
Oh and the news about Clerks 2 has been out for quite some time. Link to comment
Wind
I speak of budget, not announcement time. Link to comment
Crube
I speak of budget, not announcement time. Because a high budget movie like Stealth was really awesome! :crube: Link to comment
HappyLittleBoozer
It's going to be lame like every movie since Clerks. Link to comment

The Masked Men
The funny thing is that the original Clerks is like my second-favorite Smith film (Chasing Amy, NUMBAH ONNNNE). This might wicked suck, but I kinda doubt it. Then again, I'm a Smith apologist (Jersey Girl had a really great scene at the end there, even if a lot of it kinda bit), so... But, uhm, question; why the hell would it NEED a big budget in the first place? I honestly don't understand the complaint here. - Masked Man #2 Link to comment

Samurai Drifter
Clerks was a good movie, but it was the sort of movie that was mainly good because of its originality. I don't really think a second movie could be as good, but I'll definitely give it a try. Link to comment
uniform_motion
No, the Degrassi thing was awful. Link to comment

uniform_motion
Yeah, but it's relevent! Kevin Smith just wanted money. For him to do that type of shit and expect fans to pay is, insane. You obviously haven't seen it, maybe then you would understand. Link to comment

Ceraziefish
I didn't especially like Clerks. I'm not entirely sure why. Perhaps because the only time I ever saw it it was a double feature with Donnie Darko. Man, I hate Donnie Darko. Link to comment
