JeremyGEE
1. Build perimeter(50 miles) around oil fields(most are centralized in one area) 2. Forget about hunting for insurgents... The Iraqis don't want Democracy. 3. Besides the troops guarding the fields, move everybody else back to Kuwait. 4. For every american killed, 10 Iraqis will die. I know this seems rediculous... But Bush is already going with the "take action, ask questions later" deal.. And why not make it evident of what he REALLY wants, the oil. Link to comment

Satan
GPS's plan for Iraq: 1) Leave that's more a plan for the U.S. regarding Iraq, and from the selfish perspective, its not a bad idea. the whole instability, Iran thing isn't that important if we decide not to give a shit about the rest of the world. Course, there is always MAD to consider, both as a positive and a negative. My idea for making the Iraq situation better for America, America's image, and Iraq. I say instead of using American contractors for jobs, we hire Iraqis. It's amazing what nice pieces of paper can do to change people's hearts and minds. Link to comment

MadHatter
I didn't read everyone's replies, but this is my own opinion. Bull fucking shit. for one thing, the whole war is bs, yea, thousands of american lives were lost, but we're just adding to the number of dead, ours and theirs. The marines being in Iraq is actually endangering lives, the longer we're there the more the terrorists will try to take them out, with suicide bombs and what, we really need to just GTFO Link to comment

A perimeter fifty miles around all the oil fields in Iraq (even if most are in one area) would be ridiculous. If we're just trying to get oil, a much better idea would be to stabilize the country (how I don't know, but for the sake of argument) and then make Iraqi taxpayers pay for that. 2. This is ridiculous. Neither of those things have anything to do with each other. Also, it's not part of a plan. 3. So Iraqi civilians are completely undefended, and so are the American civilians working there? 4. 30,000 Iraqis have probably already died. This is a barbaric and brutal war already, to enact this would be a terrible idea, even an act of genocide, that would make America cast out of the global community and haunt it for the rest of its days. All in all, this is a pretty terrible plan. Link to comment

MadHatter
it is true that bush just wants to oil, but to get off track for a second here, the oil is causing alot of problems, for instance, Connecticut has seen rises in prices, even though the price of oil has actually been dropping. It doesn't make sense. So who knows what they're really doing with the oil, i think its a bad thing to go for the oil. And, for every iraqi death, even the iraqi innocents are dieing, that too isn't right, we're endangering the lives of countless thousands. if we pull out that will say to the terrorists we give up, and they will most likely attack again. To be absolutley honest, We're fucked if we do, Fucked if we dont. Link to comment
JeremyGEE
Well. I can tell you this. Gas prices rise to help keep money for more and reserves... They change the price a month before they even know what will happen with the prices of crude... Its all estimations.. Link to comment
