So, i sent my Ipod to apple to get fixed through a certain electronics store (*cough* title name) 8 weeks ago. They explained to me that it would take 4 weeks to get fixed. I was fine with that. 5 weeks went by without a phone call. I decided i would phone in and ask what was going on. I was on the phone for an hour trying to talk to the right person to find out what was going on. It turns out that they had lost my Ipod in the mail. But heres the thing, they didnt phone me, and if i didnt phone them, then i would not have found out. After i find this out , I bitched and the manager said,

" OK, OK, come in and we will give you a new one, its the last one in stock".

So i go down the the store, deal with the paperwork, and get my new Ipod. I drive 25 minutes to my girlfriends house, open the package, and look at the Ipod. ITS USED!! This thing was so scratched that i couldnt even see what was going on on the screen. I rush back down to the store and show the big manager the Ipod. He looks at me as if i am an idiot and says,

" Are you sure it was like this when you opened it?".

This offended me, and I said, " Ya, its not like i drove home to scratch up and brand new Ipod just to get another brand new Ipod."

After all this he says he will order me another one and it will be in in 5 days to a week. That was 3 weeks ago!!! I phone yesterday and talked to him, and he says that he is pretty sure he ordered it. Then he says he would phone me yesterday night and let me know what was going on . He didnt. I phone him today and he is nowhere to be seen. My Ipod is pretty much my lifes blood, i mean, i spent 600 dollars on it, and i want to use it. I AM SO PISSED OFF!!!

FUCK YOU VISIONS ELECTRONICS!!!! FUCK YOU RIGHT IN THE ASS!!!!

Which Visions is this? I advise you go back there and ask the manager to produce his dealer agreement. Then ask him to read the part where he's not allowed, BY ANY GOD DAMN FUCKING MEANS, to service or vendor return customer product. AT ALL.

No, I'm serious. I AM a certified Apple Care Tech. NO RETAILER IN CANADA IS ALLOWED TO SERVICE OR VENDOR RETURN OUR PRODUCTS WITHOUT AN RMA RECALL NOTICE. NONE AT ALL.

Thats awesome. Although they may phone me up and give me shit, but i dont care. Let me know how it ended up .

EDIT: I went there today and raised a bunch of stink, and the manager caved in and gave me a 80 gb. Which is nice, but i still went through all that bullshit that took like 8 weeks, and i dont think anyone should have to go through that, especially when it was only the back light that wasnt turning on everyonce in a while.

RR threatened Visions with legal action for servicing Apple Product. So yeah, I'm going to guess they did cave.

Not saying it helped you or not, but at least that crap won't happen again.
