Halp with bad mood

Lately I have been feeling like I feel before I start to get really "depressed". I can tell it is the kind of thing that carries over from day to day, even if you sleep a lot. I am sure you all know what I mean.

Does anyone have any ways to stop this without letting it go its full course? Either things I can do or take. (I am exercising and taking a vitamin already)

Thank you all, you're really sweet. <3<3 I hope things will be okay. A lot of fun things are coming up, in a few weeks I'm going to NYC for the first time with my Spanish class to see a play in Spanish.

This is all just a product of something chemical and it'll go away, I bet, but I'm sad that I've never known anyone ~romantically~. It doesn't have to be love or anything, just appreciation of each other.

She saw one of her good friends today, Melanie, in the restaurant we were at, Melanie was with her boyfriend and the boyfriend's dad. Melanie introduced her to the boyfriend and he offered his hand for her to shake it! And she was just like "HOW FAR"

Do something creative. I've been feeling a bit like that lately, and so I've been playing music a lot more than usual which helps me and I'm going to start painting again, which should help.

Creative activities always make me feel better at least.

5mg of Melatonin before going to bed. you trip out while you sleep, so you wake up all "oh man, that was insane!". XD

That had nothing to do with this thread tho... Oh man.

Anyways, sometimes amy, we mistake bordum for depression. I know it happens to me alot. Like you're bored but you don't know it so you classify it as depression. Either that or your getting depressed.

Well boredom is related to depression. If you're feel like you're bored by everything, bored even by things that used to interest you, you're probably at least mildly depressed.

maybe you're getting doubts about starting your adult life and stuff. maybe you need more spirituality or creativity in your life.

More spirituallity and creativity is the true solution to any form of depression, thats what made me un-depressed!

I agree with you, completly. The thing is, I've led myself into a deeper depression by not considering the fact that doing something that may stimulate my brain or just something fun(masturbating and playing video games doesn't count) could get me out of it. Helping others boosts the mood up. Ionno...

Well I've always been very proud of having a boring life. I'm not a creative person. I love mindless things like knitting, jigsaw puzzles, and washing dishes. These things relax me a lot and feel spiritual I think <3<3

Hmm it always cheers me up to babysit for my cousins. Maybe I will call my aunt and say I'll do it for free.

have you tryed pot? Im being serious here, pot shouldn’t be used to treat depression but if you what something that will be fun, if only for a while, pot does the trick.

I was actually just thinking about this, how nothing really interest me. Given the chance, I would likely just sit arrowed and do absolutely noting…
