Ikari Warrior
This review was sent to me a while ago, and I never posted it in the reviews section. I was waiting for a chance to revise it, and life simply caught up with me, so I couldn't really revise it with the discerning eye I really wanted to. So, here it is, unrevised, and I apologize twofold for not posting this in the reviews section, and waiting until the reviews section was pulled down to post it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trauma Center: Second Opinion Trauma Center: Second Opinion brings some nice things to the table. There are new tools this time around and controls are a bit different. For example: to get the patient's blood flowing again, you take the nunchuk and 'wiimote' and push them forward to shock them up. Honestly, this game is exciting. Some parts can be tedious but it's worth it. Everyone that played the DS game won't wanna purchase this title cause they say 'it's the same game.' Well, they're wrong. Sound quality is of course better, controls as I said before, gameplay is pretty much the same but in the long run it is very very nice. The story is about a young man named Dr. Stiles. In the DS game you worked with a different nurse, but this time around, you work with Angie. You'll go through the usual operation, some with new twists, I'll get to that later. Going through the story your tutor, basically your 'master' in doctorism, becomes very ill. He gets this new virus that is so unfamiliar to the world it is like cancer. Your body starts to hemorhage in all places of an organ. If you don't keep their vitals up and drain the bleeding, they will easily die. Throughout the game you're trying to find a cure for your tutor but it goes on, I won't spoil it. :) The twists are basically where the body is fine, just a normal operation, but suddenly out of nowhere the body hemorhages. You can use the technique called 'Healing Touch' on the patient. Hold Z and B buttons and draw a star, for approx. 15 seconds time slows down. In some places this is vital for success. All in all, this is a fun game that any one can enjoy. It's not too difficult to learn how to play it just takes time to adjust. The game is very fun in parts but some can be tedious, that's the only downside honestly. I rate this game: 9/10 Link to comment
