Gundampilotspaz
They didn't waste any time jumping into the action this season. First episode was awesome Link to comment
R.T.
as was the second...and third... wait...I didn't like the third as much. But the second was great! Loved the HP references! ...but then, I'm a book geek. Link to comment
mst3kjunkie
I've been catching the episodes as they've been placed online, and so far I've enjoyed the first few episodes. Link to comment
Nega-Brent
The finale of season 3 with the Master was superb. I love how perfectly his new regeneration complimented the Doctor's. Series 4 is shaping up nicely, the theme here seems to be Rose's return, the Doctor's trail of mistakes, and entire species who have lost something because of the Last Great Time War. Also, the finale is rumored to feature the return of Davros, creator of the Daleks, who transforms Harriet Jones into the ultimate Dalek because of her leadership qualities and her deep seeded hatred for the Doctor. It's also rumored to primarily feature Rose, Donna, Martha, Sarah Jane, Captain Jack with his Torchwood crew, K-9, and possibly other past companions as the Doctor's rescue team. Link to comment
Nega-Brent
Oh, and there are also rumors that the episodes leading up to the finale will reveal the fate of the 8th Doctor and what caused him to regenerate just before meeting Rose for the first time. Link to comment
Nega-Brent
New line of Classic Dr. Who figures. Includes Tom Baker, Peter Davison, and Colin Baker. Link to comment
Nega-Brent
Fan-made on-going web comic featuring all 10 Doctors being mysteriously drawn together. Eventually they decide whatever strange forces drew them together have something to do with the mystery of Eight's death and regeneration. Link to comment

Eventually they decide whatever strange forces drew them together have something to do with the mystery of Eight's death and regeneration. The problem with drawing the doctors together is that all of them should know the outcome, except for the first one. Otherwise it's a paradox. Also, eights death isn't a mystery. He died in the Time War and was regenerated right before episode 1 of the new series. Link to comment
Nega-Brent
The problem with drawing the doctors together is that all of them should know the outcome, except for the first one. Otherwise it's a paradox. Also, eights death isn't a mystery. He died in the Time War and was regenerated right before episode 1 of the new series. It is a mystery because the Doctor never said he died in the Time War and even if he did we still don't know the circumstances. All we know for sure is that he died just before meeting Rose, because when Nine looked in the mirror in the first episode it was though he was seeing his face for the first time. And the Doctor has bumped into himself on more than one occasion and teamed up with his past selves to overcome a threat before. Link to comment

Nega-Brent
But weren't those non-canon specials. No, The Three Doctors, The Five Doctors, The Two Doctors, and Time Crash are all canon stories where the Doctor has encountered himself. Time Crash is the only such occasion where his encounter with himself was going to cause a paradox and that's only because their Tardises merged. The only televised multi-Doctor story that isn't canon is Dimensions in Time. Link to comment

Gundampilotspaz
What channel is it regularly shown on? I love Doctor Who. Britian is one week ahead of us (which is much, much, better than the last three seasons) so I just torrent them. They are on at 8 on Saturday in London. Which is about 3 PM eastern. Link to comment

Nega-Brent
The Doctor's Daughter was a great episode. I hope Jenny makes more appearances. It would be fantastic if she ends up being the Doctor's companion for series 5. Link to comment
Ceraziefish
So, I never had much interest in Dr. Who but apparently my new gods, the Mars Volta, love it. So... Should I just start watching the new series from the beginning or what? Link to comment

Should I just start watching the new series from the beginning or what? Indeed, the 9th Doctor's story helps you become familiar with the lore and the 10th Doctor is just incredibly fun to watch, but there are some things you will miss if you just jump in. Nega-Brent
Did anyone guess who River Song really is? Captain Jack Harkness! Proof: She utilizes a sonic screwdriver/blaster hybrid. She went to the end of the universe with the Doctor, which he only did with Martha and Jack. The only other individual we know of who summons the Doctor via his psychic paper is the Face of Boe, who we know is the final mutated form of Jack. Link to comment
stranger
I started watching Dr. Who (the "newer", English version) yesterday. Saw the first 2 episodes and so far so good... When does David Tennant take over the Dr. Who role? Link to comment
