Wind
- 2 0 0 7 - tim wilkins (timwilkinsart.com) (Tanni Foemangler) !!! 01 - Tramadol 02 - Rose of Thorns 03 - Asfixia 04 - Pariah 05 - Mecha 06 - The Year I Disappeared 07 - Magnum 08 - Note to a Friend 09 - Your Gone 10 - Satellite (Galexia Offline) = Play Time: 47:49 = I am still talking to 2blossoms about when they are going to allow my actual release of this CD, they are currently on tour with VAST and very busy. I've had it finished mixing last week, so I decided I need to get some feedback before it goes live and on sale. I thought it'd be a cool Idea to post the album here for all of you guys to hear and toss some feed-back, since you guys have followed and supported Galexia since the beginning and I owe you guys alot. So this is it, the real deal... first official Galexia CD. -bows- -- DOWNLOAD-- http://www.accelerated-e.com/Galexia/Galexia.rar So yeah, post your honest feed-back guys, I wrote this all and performed it myself, also did the mixing / mastering myself (What I plan to goto College for, so take note of the mixing while listening). I think it is easily one of the most Depressing albums lyrically, as It really is just me pouring my heart out. - And yes Faulty, please download aswell and post what you want, you being a metal head now I'd value your feedback aswell - Don't be scared :P ----BONUS DISC---- I've decided so all my hard-work on the tracks I ditched don't go to waste, I'll include a second disc of bonus material to download 01 - Elation 02 - Axiom 03 - Moon Shoes 04 - China White 05 - Ashtray 06 - Malphas 07 - Let Go 08 - Goodnight Some of these songs are very different than the actual album, although they are very good aswell so they should be heard =]. "China White" for example is a fan favorite, and is a synth heavy 80's style pop song. Elation, and China White are ment to be dance tunes, Axiom, Ashtray, and Malphas used to be on the Self-Titled album until I removed them, Moon Shoes, Let Go, and Goodnight (along with China White and Elation) originally where intended for the second disk of the self-titled album, which was going to be a "Chill" album, with the first disc being heavy and dark. - The label told me they would not be able to support me with a double disc album, so I ended that right there - so heres the bonus tracks for you guys to enjoy. http://www.accelerated-e.com/Galexia/Galexia-BonusDisc-.rar Also, if you feel some of these songs (1 or 2 of them) should replace a song on the current album, please speak up. I still have two weeks or so until I need to submit this to the label, maybe even a little longer. Link to comment
The Masterplan
I'm just downloading it now and will not be able to give it a serious listen until tomorrow, but just let me say this: I am impressed to say the least that you've done as much as you have. There's something to be said for determination and hard work when you've essentially recorded a full-length album all your own. Even if I hate this [which I'm certain I won't] I still completely respect the fact that you've done this. I'm sorry that I can't comment further only because, as I've said, I haven't listened to it yet and will have to sometime tomorrow. Whatever becomes of this, I wish you luck. Link to comment

Chris
The intro is very fitting for the feel of the album, great build up, and somewhat of a message, cause I'm assuming you talking about Tramadol itself. Strongest tracks are by far in this order are - Pariah, Rose Of Thorns, and Magnum. Also loved the two ballad type songs - Asfixia, and Note To A Friend, some deep emotions there. I wasn't much into some of the others, but I don't listen to much industrial music, so don't take that to heart. Very cool closing track though. All and all, a great listen and I'll probably give it another tomarrow. Great job man :headbang: Link to comment
mst3kjunkie
will download tomorrow, as homework currently takes precedence, but is it meant to be "Your Gone" or "You're Gone"? Link to comment
Wind
will download tomorrow, as homework currently takes precedence, but is it meant to be "Your Gone" or "You're Gone"? See, Its not ment to be read as a person being gone, so Im not sure if I should change it. Link to comment
ROCKSTEADY
Production - Very Professional production, although it feels a little fat, like they're is too much mid or something. And the vocals could have been recorded better, yet, I think you did fantastic for what you had to work with. Some of the guitar effects seem very dissassociated with the rest of the mix. Other than those few small points, i think (for the genre) the production is fantastic. Link to comment
The Lone Magician
I'm listening right now, sounds pretty sweet. Unfortunately, I may not get to it ALL tonight, as my speakers keep being stupid. I literally have to beat the living crap out of my computer (in various areas) to get them to work at all! Link to comment
Wind
I may release a compilation of older material to go along with the new CD as like a bonus disc. Im setting a tracklist up now, and Ill post a URL for anyone curious. The older stuff is VERY chill and very trip-hoppy. edit - Or I will post a compilation of all the tracks I scrapped out of the new album, that'd be neat little bonus. Link to comment

ROCKSTEADY
Music - Im going to come right out and say it to begin with, so you know my prespective. Im not a big fan of industrial/rock/metal. I thought the intro didn't quite fit with the rest of the album, I think the vinyl scratching and the drum beats really gave it a different feel. Great job on layering your melodies and such. It sounds like you really had a vision for what you were doing. I have a problem with the vocals, not how you performed, but the style you chose. While this is only true with some of the tracks, i found they were too Maynard/Reznor-ish. Most (if not all) the vocals were executed perfectly nonetheless. The Guitar Work is exactly what i would expect from an industrial type album, low and rythmic. The Percussion is spot on. But wheres teh overdrive :gabber: The Acoustic guitar is exactly where it should be, and nowhere where it shouldn't. Pretty nice. You had a serious sense of direction with this release, and it shows. Wind
I appreciate your listen and feedback! Yeah I was going for a maynard-y style vocal approach on some tracks, I love his voice and how I sound on the songs. It's cool that you don't dig those, although I'm surprised as it seems alot of people enjoy my vocals in that style. Thanks for the feedback!!! Link to comment

Wind
so far its pretty good, its not normally what i listen to but i can dig it. looking forward to the bonus stuff. is it cool with you i share this with some friends? Ofcourse, if you can find someone into Industrial Style music, I am sure they will really dig it. I understand people who aren't into this music already - my stuff won't change your mind. You have to really already dig the styles and genres. Link to comment
Wind
also, what software do you use? Adobe Audition for mixing and mastering. All keys/bass/instruments (many) are recorded directly into my pc, or mic'd and my vocals I use a senheisser headset to sing. I then put every instrument track into Adobe Audition and mix and master them. Link to comment
The Lone Magician
My friend should like this. If he doesn't, that's too bad. Even if it's not my favorite (tracks 5 and 6 were cool), I do respect the work and such that you put in to this. Nice work, sir. Very nice. A fine edition to my hard drive. Link to comment
