Hmmm actually the newest backup they had was from March 23rd. That's about 2 weeks old. That would have really been terrible. And knowing Surpass's track record with making complete, fully functional backups, we would have probably gotten a backup with 1/3rd of the database and ended up doing ANOTHER fresh install. Glad I managed to fixed it myself. In the future, should something like this arise again, I'll save myself 24 hours of dealing with the hosting company and letting them break more things, and just fix it myself. I didn't originally want to try fixing it myself in the first place because I thought I'd just break more than was already broken. Turns out this was Surpass's intention. I can't do as much damage as those noobs if I tried.
