Living under a rock while everyone else's frothing demand for the game was increasing.

UFO Interactive deserves some respect for bringing something over here that people actually want to buy instead of cheap bargain bin games like Sudoku or Bowling.

Also, like every shump, this game is going to be a very, very limited run. Gamestop online is already sold out. If you didn't pre-order it's going to be a real pain in the ass to find.

Actually, that sort of confused me at first too. It appeared to be stuck in an infinite loop. At first I just assumed that it wasn't going to let me start unless I cleared up some space on my memory card. But then I decided to try pressing different buttons, and it worked.

Well, I had no idea that not only was this game out, but that it was even coming out in the US. Naturally I had the Japanese PC version already (thank you, Akito.) But I just walked into EB just to kill some time while I waited for my girlfriend to go on her lunch break at work and there it was... Even amidst all the PS2 clutter and crap it shone like a bright midnight star, as if guiding me back home.

I nearly shat myself and I snatched it up off the shelf and let outloud a gasp. Looking around as if to make sure I was really there and really holding Raiden III, I powerwalked up to the counter, in a hurry. I wanted to play this game before I woke up from this dream.

Now here I sit playing Raiden III, my eyes brimming with tears of joy, in my own little version of heaven, proving that it really is the little things in life.

Now excuse me, I have thousands of ships to blow up.

But yes, Raiden III is definitely win. I really need to get a rotating stand for my monitor so I can play it in its true orientation.
