Chris
Anyone as pumped for this as I am?! I mean FUCK! Tonight was good, and next week looks like God. I can't imagine how good the season finale is going to be. Apparently, next week, John Locke captures Ben and tells Soyer to kill him! :headbang: Link to comment
noodle
i could really care less. the first season was interesting, but then they just kept on throwing more crap into the show. it just seems like they had a cool idea and then realized they had nowhere to take the show. but eh, thats just me. i have only seen bits and pieces of the show lately. Arcane
I have faithfully watched Lost every week it's been on, and I can honestly say that I'm not really pumped at all. In the beginning of season 3, I was pumped every Wednesday, only to be let down when NOTHING HAPPENED once again. And now, by this point, I still watch it, but I don't really get excited about it at all. This was pretty much what I was afraid of happening with this show. I figured the network would try to milk it for all it's worth and make 90% of the episodes just bullshit filler, and that's exactly what's been happening. Link to comment
Chris
I know what you mean, but in recent weeks it has been better. Things were solved this week, and next week looks fucking good. Link to comment
Cip
I know what you mean, but in recent weeks it has been better. Things were solved this week, and next week looks fucking good. werd pretty much the first 6 episodes they showed in autumn were good, then the rest of the season were just shitty episodes that transitioned to the end of the season which is now, but lately the episodes have gotten alot better and have explained a few things, so Im excited for the next few episodes. LeadingMan
So uhm, that finale was kinda crap... Or at least the shock ending was... That pretty much took all the wind out of the sails for me. Link to comment

Bundydoc
I have faithfully watched Lost every week it's been on, and I can honestly say that I'm not really pumped at all. And now, by this point, I still watch it, but I don't really get excited about it at all. This was pretty much what I was afraid of happening with this show. I have watched LOST since episode 1. I was hooked and continued to watch faithfully. I thought the mystery behind the Island, the Mythology they started to build was Incredible. I am a huge fan of Alias and X-Files and so mythology is everything to me. Then it became kind of apparent during season 2 that the writers were LOST The begining of Season 3 was unbearable and even though I watched the whole season it was only because Heroes was on Monday. Then I hear that the writers FINALLY know where the show is going to go...Secrets are going to be revealed. AND THEN - the seaon finally happened and it told us NOTHING!!!!! And somebody tell my why Charlie isn't smart enough to go out of the room and simply grab Desmond who has scuba gear and jump into the frickin Hole. Sorry - you pushed the "you've wasted HOURS of my life and I want them back" button Link to comment
Chris
Initially, I hated the ending, but now I think it was kind of necessary. Only thing is that now we have to wait until February 2008. Some of the identities of the people are kind of obvious though.. the man in the casket is obviously Ben, and Kate's husband is obviously Soyer. Ben's in casket, cause Jack is now realizing the island was his true home and Ben was truthful, and that Kate's reaction to Jack asking about the funeral speaks for itslef. Soyer has to be the husband by some things she said and because there's no one else it can be. But we have this to look forward to... - identity and meaning of "Jacob" - the island creature - why the russian dude won't die - why Ben was truthful about the rescuers being bad people - the futures of everybody - the "box" Ben was talking about more i probably forgot Link to comment
Coffee
i like when fans RAGE over recent episodes that just confirm fan theories because they feel it's "stuff they already know" even though it's never answered clearly in the show, but when it actually does they get mad. edit: also reading over this thread again after so long was neat because alot of the questions/theories have been answered in the past few seasons since this thread began. and the thread title is relevant again! Coffee
last two hours of the series are on tonight. where EVERY SINGLE QUESTION EVER will be answered. or it'll just be two hours of Terry O'Quinn making scary faces. Link to comment
LeadingMan
I'm just hoping for a couple more defining character moment where they have to hit some tough decisions, and I'll call it a day there. I don't expect questions answered, ever. Sometimes this is better, like in zombie films. Link to comment
Coffee
the only thing i'd be a little hung up on them not answering is the Walt stuff from season 2. why he popped up around the island even though it couldn't have been Jacob's brother because Walt wasn't dead. i can deal with them not explaining why he was a green lantern, because people can pump their fan theories in and take it as Jacob coming to him at some point. since we know Jacob was into touching little kids like Sawyer and Kate. it's just the "appearing in random places even though he isn't dead" that's got me.
