The difference is that those things aren't done at publicity events. If the goat was already dead or killed humanely then there isn't necessarily anything morally wrong with it, but the fact that they used it for a publicity stunt was a really stupid move for Sony.

I'm not all that familiar with what else dumb they've done, but this is pretty staggeringly amazing to me. And what do you mean, won't give two shits about this, people were all in an uproar over it according to that article. I bet anything that game ends up banned.
