TeleportSandwich
An interesting article from todays NY Times http://www.nytimes.com/2007/04/30/health/3...amp;oref=slogin If only they had this instead of square dancing when I was in high school :awesome: Link to comment
Ceraziefish
My friend logged his DDR practice in order to get PE credit. I logged backpacking... It was pretty sweet, because I counted the whole trip as exercise, even when I was sleeping. What's that, I need to get 90 hours over the whole quarter? That's only about three days, and I usually spend a week... Link to comment
thebornotaku
They play DDR for PE at my school. Every day. It's either that, or play the suggested sport. Most people play DDR. Link to comment
J-Stop
Three years too late for Morgantown. A bunch of schools were already doing this, but it's good to see more of them picking up on it. If they had DDR in my PE class and my 'teach wasn't such a pedo, I would have been all over this. Link to comment
TeleportSandwich
maybe instead of music class they'll have guitar hero soon! :awesome: Link to comment
thebornotaku
the problem is that all my school has is soft-pads and student-owned consoles. We really need a DDR machine or something. It could be used to raise funds for Robotics! =D Link to comment
ROCKSTEADY
i always skip class and play DDR in the lifetime sports class with this kid. i kick his ass. TSUGARU on heavy.... A to D Link to comment
margot
yeah i thought it was old news. wellll it's good if it gets people to exercise more, i guess. ddr seems like it would be better exercise than most of the stuff i had to do. Link to comment
Mithrandir
Yay, another PE activity that makes me feel inferior to everybody because of my lack of skills. Thank God I'm not in high school. Link to comment

It's not hard to rig up a switch to a standard coin mechanism... And if you use that PC clone, you can make new songs. Leave a suggestion box next to the machine to keep interest up. And metal pads are easy to build. You guys could raise some decent money right there. Link to comment

DreamerGirl
We didn't even have TVs anywhere near out gym class. ^^;; We were happy their was a stereo in the weight room.... Usually I'd go to the park, but I hear the teacher who let me do that was fired. I don't know if it's good to have that many kids on amphetimines during gym though. Link to comment
