margot
u__u i realized that dealing with people has made me really miserable and that the only things that make me happy are: music, books, dolls, clothes, nature, food, writing, birds, fishies, and random things like hoola hoop. is it wrong or bad to stop talking and seeing people unless absolutely necessary???? No Sad Endings
You probably will want to get over it eventually. I mean, to some extent. Introversion is a normal personality trait, wanting to literally hide in a hole and not face society at all isn't. We all experience this sometimes in response to traumatic events, and some of us experience this more often as a result of pathological anxiety disorders, but you're not likely to be very happy if you hide yourself away from the world. amy
i think absolutely go ahead and do it. your health/happiness is the most important thing i don't know about "getting over it" but you can always change, it's not like putting a life sentence on yourself. Link to comment

I went through this my senior year. After it I took 6 months off from life played video games literally for 15 hours a day and did jack shit. It gets boring slowly. Key word. Slowly. Now I actually like being around people again because I hated highschool. By the way the same highschool ken goes to. It sucks balls. Huge monkey balls. Link to comment
DreamerGirl
If that's what you want I don't think anything is wrong with it. ...As long as you don't start cutting up animals/people as a hobby. I tend to get really into what I'm doing at a specific time, but someone eventually comes around and rips me away back into the world with everyone else. It gets really bad during school because I'm expected to go there and be social, then go to work and be social, then go out and be social but it just gets exhausting. Link to comment
Harrison Ford
We all go trough this, some more than others. When it's more than others, we call it anti-social. XD Anyways, I'm the same exact way, even with my best friends. The sad thing is, isolating yourself can be bad sometimes, because in my experiance the human mind needs to interact with others in order to not go insane. Also you don't want to be old and lonely as fuck. If not tho, you could be one of the few that just rathers not be around people and doing so makes you incredibly happy for the rest of your life. I hope this is your case. Link to comment
amy
i just need a lot of rest time lol, like I'm "alone" for maybe 4 or 5 hours in the day, and another 4 or 5 with just my sister, but i really enjoy seeing people too =) Link to comment

No. Who cares about anybody else? If you want to be recluse because it makes you feel better, then go for it. Others are more adapt to being social. Whatever floats your boat. Link to comment
