FFCC: Ring of Fates

Shonen Jump is reporting an August 23rd Japanese release for the game. More then three years after it was first announced. The magazine also privded some new screens.

FFCC was one of my favourite GC games, so I'm really looking forward to this.

Looking good. Since Dragon Quest IX isn't going to be an action RPG after all, my interest in Rings of Fate went up tremendously.

oh, so you're just guessing?

Basically. I don't recall any other portable titles being in development this long. Even Crisis Core looks to have a slightly shorter dev schedule.

S-E showed off a very small clip of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers.

According to Square the scenes are done in real time, and from the people who have seen it, say that it resembles a more Zelda-ish style of gameplay. Oh, and don't bother looking for screens or the trailer itself, Square decided to cock block everyone there.

Hopefully an extended trailer and screens appear soon. The new style sounds interesting at least.
