So, I suggested this idea to the GPS, and he approved of it, and god knows I would never go forward with an idea GPS didn't approve of.

Basically, the idea is similar to Foldered's playlist idea. Someone signs up for each week. That week, they will post a short story, or excerpt from a longer worker if you so wish. I guess you can post poetry if you're a huge lamer (just kiddin', but personally I prefer prose to poetry, especially cuz poetry is always so short).

Once you've posted your writing, everyone else will read it and provide feedback and editing. Now, I don't want anyone bashing each other, so you will recieve truckloads of karma if you talk shit about someone's writing, and Tim and I will show up at your house with baseball bats (unless Tim or I is the offender, in which case GPS will kill the offender with his laser satellites).

AS A WRITER, you are agreeing to these obligations:

1. Post a story. It can be as short or long as you want, within reason. I'd like something between three and ten pages or so, but it doesn't matter too much.

2. Post it in a timely fashion! We don't want to wait.

3. Along with your story, you post information about what you're looking to improve, so we can keep this in mind while we're reading.

4. You are also agreeing to read everyone else's stories.

AS A READER, you are agreeing to these obligations:

1. Try to provide useful feedback on the week's story.

2. At the very least, be polite to the author. Even if their work totally sucks, don't say that! Constructive criticism is always best.

Topics of stories can be whatever the hey-now you want. They can be about anything or anybody, although if Vampy posts porn I might object.

So... Get started! I'll post a story I've written soon enough; probably Monday, since that's when I believe the week begins.

You can send in gay porn if you want. It'd be sort of silly of me to say "Yeah, hetero porn is fine and gay porn is not." Like I said, no limits on what you want to write. Just I, personally, am not too into the porn.

Awesome idea and I'd like to participate but I don't really write stories in the normal fashion, I write scripts for my comics. Would it be cool if I popped up either the scripts or the finished work?
