Pretty cool. Not necessarily my favorite medium (or style, frankly).... but I think I like it, actually, because I'll be DAMNED if it doesn't remind me of something. A creature from a movie I think, but I'm drawing a blank. Maybe the dark water from Pirates of Dark Water? Hahaha... that's not right. I'll get back to you.

I'm not a big fan of abstract/modern stuff either, but I wanted to give it a go. This is definately modern because the actual artistry is not as "good?" as the meaning I give it.

The actual sculpture is a massive, semi-formless object with multiple "arms" attacking another being from many different angles. What it means is that while working on it [and in general], there were alot of things that were engulfing me and I couldn't really stop any of it from happening. Though there are many different arms, the all come from the same place, indicating that all these consuming troubles stem from a similar metaphorical "place". The short version is I felt like life was attacking me [and still do] and life is a multifaceted thing attacking from all places on all sides, but the "attacks" are all part of life and there's nothing you can really do.

I appreciate the comments, keep them coming.

i think it's a bigass sea cucumber/anemone thing arcing over to gobble up some shrimp

or a really tiny version of that monster that lives in the asteroid in Star Wars

or a TREMOR! :ohmy:
