Bundydoc
OMG - the first season of Heroes is over and all I can say is that this just may be the best TV show on. The writing is fantastic and they have created an incredible Universe that is very intricate. Did anyone else think that Heroes dad just might live forever and that was him in the 1600's outfit? Also, who do you think is this "other" bad guy that Molly (?) talked about. I also heard that next season during the winter break, they are going to show NEW episodes that will contain stories of other Heroes that we haven't seen yet. Then everyone gets to vote for their favorite. That super hero will join the show in the spring. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Link to comment
noodle
if my av and sig show anything, its that im a fan. heroes origins is a side story not affecting the main plot line except for whatever character ends up getting voted on. interesting idea but iv never been a fan of the voting gimmick. oh, and that samurai that we're lead to believe is Kensei is totally George Takei. idunno if hes playing the same character or not though. PMA
I haven't watched the last two episodes yet.... so I'm not going to even READ either of your posts until I'm done with those in a couple hours. With that said, I would agree with the sentiment that Heroes is the coolest show on primetime TV. Not exactly alot of competition, if you ask me, but its still fantastic. It SUCKS, however, in that Sylar is extremely good at killing off all the hotties. Link to comment
Adam
Shitty show is shitty. You think everything is crappy unless it comes out your butt. Link to comment
Gundampilotspaz
No, that isn't going to be the same character. Chapter 2 is going to deal with the histories of the families which had formed the first "Super Group" So he would be Hiro's ancestor, also we can assume everything started in the 1600's from the symbol of the eclipse. noodle
GEORGE TAKEI IS A HIGHLANDER never thought of that did ya? i wanna know more about the petrelli dad. it would also be nice if they actually gave niki/jessica some significance to the show other than "oh im to weak and can't....". i got sick of that real fast. Bundydoc
GEORGE TAKEI IS A HIGHLANDER never thought of that did ya? Actually if you read my original post again that's what I was trying to get at... Takei's power is that he is immortal. It will be great to get some back story on their families. Here's an idea - could Shaft be the "other" that Molly is refering to (the one she's afraid of)? Peter must have time traveled and Shaft could see him even though he was probably invisible... Anyone else get the ironic symbolism of the cockroach? Did Sylar escape or was he dragged away? Here's a thought - I was listening to a podcast and a listener mentioned that the store Sylar worked in fixing clocks said "X and Sons" which would imply that Sylar has a brother Could that be who dragged Sylar from the seen? Things that make you go...hmmmmmmm Link to comment

Well on him, I think I already know who he is. The only thing is he was never formally introduced just referred to off handedly. He is the other person with Peter's powers that The Doctor trained. BTW - did anyone else seem to think that the man in wheel chair named Charles was kinds of Ironic??? At least there wasn't an X on his wheels. Link to comment
Natsu
I like Heroes.. my only gripe.. I don't like the whole empath I got everyones powers stuff, I think its jus a copout on a characters development. Link to comment

Things that make you go...hmmmmmmm are you talking about the hatian? or are you talking about charles (Simone's dad). personally i would rather not have it explained. i thought that it was cool and would like to leave it at that. i also noticed the cockroach thing, but if you watch the first episode (genesis) it starts off with mohinder giving a speech about evolution and he mentions the almighty cockroach. BUT it hasn't just appeared along sylar. it was also next to matt parkman when he was in that pirmatech facility. So you think he has the ability to absorb powers? BTW - did anyone else seem to think that the man in wheel chair named Charles was kinds of Ironic??? At least there wasn't an X on his wheels. ya know i never thought about that. meh, doesn't bother me. Link to comment

PMA
Ya... hahaha. Glad I didn't read this thread until after I watched the finale. With that said, Nathan = . I knew he'd be a good guy in the end... . I just watched the last 2 episodes in a row, so its kinda hard to put into words right now. I'll post again after its all sunk in. But ya, fuckin brilliant show. I enjoyed the hell out of it. Sidenote: I disagree completely about the empath thing being a character copout. Hell, 99% of the plot revolved around it, so to argue it hindered either Sylar or Peter's character development seems fairly preposterous. Plus Peter and Sylar's similar but opposite dichotomy was a nice touch, kinda like Ken/Ryu. Yes, Ken and Ryu is the analogy I made. Like I said, clearly I'm tired. Like I said, I'll come back after I let it sink in. Link to comment
LeadingMan
Yeah, lay off Peter man. He's one of the best characters on TV atm. And his character is anything but hindered by it. He's one of the most relatable of the cast since he actually cares about the world and the people around him. Link to comment
