Ok I know that 9 times outta 10 this thread will go into the depths un-noticed, but I as a poster would like to know how different members fell upon AE, I know that a majority of you migrated from AN..but what made you post here and become a member, I'll start with myself, I always frequentd a chat with some Video Game guys from the AN forums and I heard of this board from Wind and started posting here more frequently as a habit because of total randomness and some nice people..and then I came to enjoy it more.

I honestly wish I coulda met Tim on AN so I coulda sent him some steamy PM's but that wouldn't work..

So tell me what brought ya here?

i used to frequent The UAB, which was a really weird anime board, Kruetz was also a member their and linked to AE at some point. When the UAB died i just joined AE.

i didn't migrate from AN like alot of others. i just fell out of AN for like 2 years and then started posting there again until on Occult Proposal buki told me where everyone went after. and here i am

well i know baltar irl and i used to post on a forum a friend made, but then everybody stopped carring and it got taken over by chinese spammer. baltar was all "dood! a-e!". i heard the podcast and thought "wow, these people sound fucking retarded".

Was a part of the OS back when the AN forum's where still cool. Then everything went to shit and most of the clubs where deleted or died a slow painful death as a result of the mod's "improvements" to the forum. I held off joining with the Anti-AN crowd for awhile until I found out that most of my OS friends had migrated over here, at which point I moved over here and never looked back :hardgay:

Wind promised to share the terrible secret of space with me if I joined. I was the first to join behind Elite in the pre-crashed AE days, and joined that one generic board we almost used originally. :awesome:

Long story short, I went to high school with venom112, who told me about AN. And after I joined AN I independently discovered the Otaku Syndicate.

I was member #47 of "Anti-AN."
