AE Chess!

I'll be amazed if this lasts more than about 3 days.

I started getting into chess again sometime last week, and we've played a couple games in RT that seem to work pretty well. We should organize AE chess games here and if enough people are interested maybe even an AE tourny! *hopes, but expects nothing*

^ that's the website we're using. You have to register an account, but you don't even need to check your email to verify so it hardly matters.

EVERYONE SIGN UP AND PLAY.

I posted this in RT, but would anyone be interested in playing some Diplomacy? It was the first game besides chess to be played via correspondence (letters in the 50's). Basically it's Europe in WWI, and each player is a leader of one country (out of England, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Russia, and Turkey). You have armies and fleets that you move around so there's a strategic element but most of the focus is making and betraying agreements with the other players. For example it takes two armies to beat one army, if one army goes up against another they just bounce off.

...Then again this could make us hate each other. Hahahaha!

I say this because I suck at chess. And have a pdf of the diplomacy rules (they're pretty short).
