DreamerGirl
Does your school offer learning support services? It's usually free and you can just meet with them whenever to go over what you are learning in class. Link to comment

The thing is that my classes are very compact and I pretty much skipped math in high school. Link to comment
DreamerGirl
Well, for over the summer maybe get a SAT study book for Math? Or ACT.... I think trying to teach yourself math is kind of suicidal though. I always relied on the teachers to explain what the book was saying. (I just never understood the language they used in those things.) The important part about math is to try and go through the problems as the teacher does them, or even before if possible. It's mainly about practice, for me at least. Link to comment
amy
Are you taking a math class? I took intro calculus in high school and I think the key is just to do a shitload of practice problems. If you are taking a class you can ask your teacher for extra problems. Another thing that helped me was to go through the chapter and make a sheet of all the important points/equations in that chapter or section. With math, there are usually at most 4 or 5. You can use the sheet to do problems but try not to Link to comment

Everyone tells me it's hard as fuck, especially if you failed the assessments like I did. Good points. Well, for over the summer maybe get a SAT study book for Math? Or ACT.... Or maybe just ask them to teach me whats coming up. Link to comment
