Belial
Belial's Guide to Becoming Incredibly Successful Step 1: Be me Step 2: Get into the only college you bothered applying at due to your amazing test scores Step 3: Sit back and don't do shit. Seriously, you would think that once you're in college you need to do stuff, but thats all lies of The Man. Step 4: Drop out of college. Though, I don't understand how its considered flunking if you pass all of your classes, and a 1.0 is still passing, its the university's fault for allowing people who don't ever go to class to get 1.0's in the first place. Step 8: Now that you've got millions, invest all of that money wisely... that or spend it all on useless stuff that make you feel good. Step 9: Rinse and Repeat daily as needed. Link to comment
margot
haha I will probably either: A) Reed for writing B) NYU for film C) some big music capital like NYC or washington DC I don't get why you dropped out of college, it seems fun. Edited January 10, 2006 by Lindsay Link to comment

Wind
http://www.fullsail.com/index.cfm/fa/top.m...world-education Seems where I wanna go now, for music recording / technology stuff. seems like an amazing school, but apperantly the hours are hectic so its impossible to hold a job along with it, and it has high tuition rates. Alundra
Wind, do NOT, and I mean DO NOT request information from Full Sail. I would get a call almost every 5 hours from the marketing dierctor "K.P." continually asking me if I want to go. After I found out that you have to live off campus and the tuition is literally right up there with DigiPen, I had to pass. But if you have the money and the gumption to walk to the main campus every day, then you will have some of the industry's top equipment on this side of the world at your fingertips. The resumes that come out of that school are nothing short of amazing. Link to comment

If my parents could afford to send my brother to Viginia Tech for 4 and a half years, then i will be able to afford full sail for 2 years, or maybe only 12months if I only do Recording Arts (its a 12month one). books and all equipment and stuff. A bunch of my buds want to go, so if 2 or so of them make it in, then I got people to help split an apartment. right now this place is my main focus and goal. Link to comment
Battle_Pope
just as long as your college isn't out in the middle of Bumblefuck, Anywhere USA and you don't leave yourself to be Bobby Teenager, college can be fun. Link to comment

Mithrandir
Ah, it's practical education. That explains why I haven't heard of it. I have absolutely no interest in a practical education. Link to comment
