Juxtapose
:O Yar~ For my Ancient & Medieval Civilization class, I need to pick a topic for a research project. The problem is, there's so many topics that I'm rather flustered on what to do. D: So if anybody can give me suggestions on what or who I should research on, I would love you eternally~ :D Link to comment
Samurai Drifter
Hmmm... I have the same class, actually. ^^;; The topic I picked (but couldn't use, since it had already been taken) was the Onin War in the Ashikaga period of Japan (13th century, I believe). There are also the Incans, Mayans, etc. of Central America that I'll probably end up doing. So those are some good topics, or ideas at least. Link to comment

I would use those, but my class deals with the Western Civ. :/ Greece! ....xD Anything specific? Gundampilotspaz
Yar~ I like the idea of the Roman advancements lost. :O I don't know of a book on the subject but I saw on the history channel of tons of advancements that didn't come back around until recently. Brain surgery being the most impressive. Link to comment
Ceraziefish
I would use those, but my class deals with the Western Civ. :/ I may be a little off on the timing, but you could talk about the spread of Christianity through Europe. Also, the Crusades. I know there was this whole thing where Arabic scientists kept the knowledge of the Greeks alive (some of it, anyway) while Europe was doing the whole 'barbaric mess' thing for a thousand years or so. David
Do ninjas and samurai and Japanese Feudalism fall under "Ancient & Medieval Civilization"? :O Link to comment
Juxtapose
Well...it's not something we're studying in the class~ :/ Would've been cool though~ D: Link to comment
darkon
Well, I personally would do something on art. Most likely on common misconceptions of Medieval Art... but I don't know if you can really do a commentary. Link to comment
