Samurai Drifter
Pignolata is a Sicilian pastry. It is soft, and covered in chocolate and lemon flavored syrup (a 1 kilogram specimen, which is the norm, will have half covered in one flavoring and the other half in the other flavoring), which hardens when the pignolata is ready to be served. Each pastry serves about 5 people, and is meant to be cut into small pieces when served. Link to comment

Samurai Drifter
Dental insurance, like health insurance, is coverage for individuals to protect them against dental costs. Dental insurance usually goes hand-in-hand with health insurance, with most people in the United States receiving it included in their health insurance plan from their employer. Along with receiving dental insurance from your employer, there are ways to receive dental insurance through resellers and companies for individuals and families; although this way tends to be too expensive for most people. amy
I agree, this thread is really cool. I can't think of anything boring to say. Fricatives (or spirants) are consonants produced by forcing air through a narrow channel made by placing two articulators close together. These are the lower lip against the upper teeth in the case of [ f ], or the back of the tongue against the soft palate in the case of German [ x ], the final consonant of Bach. This turbulent airflow is called frication. A particular subset of fricatives are the sibilants (sometimes referred to as stridents). When forming a sibilant, one still is forcing air through a narrow channel, but in addition the tongue is curled lengthwise to direct the air over the edge of the teeth. Link to comment
